This portion of the site contains a survey that students will fill-out prior to placement in a program and also couseling services that will aid the students once they have completed their coursework.
Career Planning
The following services will be provided to aid students in obtaining job placement and properly preparing for interviews.
Career Counseling:
A credentialed counselor will be available to assess progress and provide possible job placements. They will also have access to career assesment tools, employability skills presentations, internet resources, reference books and videos, and computer databases.
Personal Counseling:
A counselor who has been trained in therapy and support will be available to assist and provide emotional support to students during this transitional time period.
Job Training
Internships:
Students can earn a maximum of one elective credit for internship positions. Internship positions can be paid or unpaid.
Job Shadowing:
Students experience the work environment by accompanying an employee through part of his/her work day. Job shadowing can be arranged by individual instructors through this office.
Job Training/ Work Credit
Students earn elective credit by working a part-time job in a related technical area during school hours.
